Les vendredis Country du Ste-Cath avec Josée Allard, Country Folk 

When asked what kind of music she plays, Josee answers with: what kind of music does Sheryl Crow play? It's hard to answer because it's a mix of many different genres like folk, country, pop and blues yet her sound is unmistakably hers.  

With parents from Quebec, Josee grew up speaking French and English in her native Powell River, B.C., and started playing guitar when she was 12 years old. She remembers learning Hotel California from her uncle and started to sing harmonies and write songs shortly after. She fell in love with an American boy and moved to Anacortes, WA for a few years before settling in a small town in the Northern Adirondacks of New York State.
